Lizzie first started practicing Yoga in 2010 alongside her dance studies, but truly found her love for it, when living in Australia in 2012.
Lizzie believes that movement is a journey, done on your own terms and her classes offer up options to suit most bodies and abilities.
Lizzie’s classes are the perfect balance of energising flow, alongside purposeful rest.

Lew is a professional MMA fighter who discovered the benefits of yoga along side his fight training, and loved it so much that he qualified as a teacher
Lew is passionate about pranayama (the breathe), sharing the benefits that this ancient practice offers, in modern life.
Justine McGartland

Justine is an energetic individual whose passion for yoga started when she was 16. She began practicing yoga to improve her flexibility and fitness but soon became enamoured with the healing benefits yoga had on her mental health as well as her physical body. She completed her yoga training in Bali fusing the physical practice of yoga alongside the spiritual traditions.
She predominantly practices Vinyasa but loves to explore different yoga styles and how each one positively impacts her on and off the mat. She loves the fluidity of vinyasa to connect the body and mind and loves exploring fun transitions in her classes. Justine’s classes aim to positively challenge you, encouraging you to go inward and connect with yourself, your body and breath.

Pilates & MOVE Slow Flow
Hi I’m Joanne & I share my life with Jake my loyal companion and fur legged fur ball.
I began practicing yoga in north Wales in the 1980’s and immediately fell in love with the ancient practice.
However I did find excellent teachers who inspired me for three decades until In 2014 i qualified as a Vinyasa Flow Yoga Instructor and began sharing my passion for yoga in South Wales.
Yoga is an integral part of my life witnessing how beneficial it has been in my life and students lives regardless of person or situation. People feel better with yoga in their life
In 2023 I qualified as a Pilates instructor helping students improve their strength, balance, mobility, posture, focus and concentration to improve health conditions
Being part of a community is crucial to health, happiness and longevity and I feel excited to be part of Move Yoga Studio in Pontyclun.

Hello, I’m Lucy, I am completing my yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India.
I have been practicing yoga for many years all over Cardiff whilst also being a student dietitian in the NHS! I am excited to start my yoga teaching journey and share the knowledge I have been learning here in the birth place of yoga.
